Mammut Performance Static 10mm dia Polyamide. (Price/200m) The top performer in the range. A popular semi-static caving rope with heavy duty extra thick sheath 41% of total rope, with high abrasion resistance for intensive use and long life. Withstands a massive 7 x FF1 falls with 100kg and elongation is only 3.5% with 150kg weight. Breaking strength 27kN (approx 2.7 tons) Colour Gold with two black stripes. Also available to order in White with twin Red stripes, or solid Black. N.B. Mammut semi-static ropes exceed the requirements of EN1891 and are CE compliant. Available as cut lengths from 1-199m or 50m/100m/200 reels. Semi-Static ropes are suitable for Caving Single Rope Techniques (SRT), Abseiling, Rescue and Industrial applications. Semi-Static ropes are not suitable for Climbing. ROPE SHRINKAGE: Most Nylon ropes shrink up to 10% after initial use, which is accepted as normal
