Nova Plus NiMH with screw on mounting + short cable to NiMH rechargeable battery (for charger see code 26317) (Illustration is flat blade model, helmet is extra cost) The Nova Plus uses the very latest LED’s and is twice as bright as the earlier Nova 3, giving up to 200 lumens on high setting. The single super bright 3 watt LED has 2 brightness settings which give 30 hrs good light on low setting and 9 hrs on high, when using NiMH 4.5ah rechargeable battery. Duration on low setting with 4.5v Alkaline flatpack battery is 60 hrs. The Nova Plus LED headlight can be powered by DX3 or Headlite NiMH (3.6v) rechargeable batteries. A longer cable version is available for connection to waist mounted battery packs. Battery box models can be powered by 3 x AA Duracell when using the special adaptor or with a 4.5v Flatpack Duracell. The Nova Plus LED headlight can also be powered with rechargeable battery packs such as, 3 x NiCad cells (3.6v) 3 x NiMH cells (3.6v) + other similar battery types. The Nova Plus headlight is guaranteed to -50 metres. IMPORTANT: The Nova LED will be permanently damaged if connected to a power source greater than 3.6 volts. The only exception to this is when using 3 x AA (4.5v) or Flatpack dry battery (4.5v) where there is a voltage drop when on load
